The LAIK GmbH is a dynamic company that was founded in January 2020. Always looking for new ways to process and design wood, the two experienced master carpenters and company founders Tobias Jung and Denis Dostmann create designer furniture that stands out due to its unique flexibility. The first is the iLAIK table with its innovative patented lamella system. It can be smoothly extended by half of its length – without folding mechanism or insert plate(s).

The worldwide unique lamella design is the result of precisely guided, computer-controlled laser cuts. This extremely flexible extending table is available in four lengths (80, 120, 160 and 200 cm) as well as iLAIK "couch" and comes in several colors and versions.

Founding team
The carpenters Denis Dostmann and Tobias Jung came up with the original idea, which they applied for a patent shortly afterwards. Together with engineer Christian Mühlbauer, they are part of the original team of inventors and stand for LAIK manufactory and product development. Peter Bruns, Mark Löhr and Anita Pfattner form the LAIK marketing and sales team.
