Profile
MGA is a 25 person Architecture + Interior Design firm in Vancouver BC working on large and small projects here at home and around the world. We are motivated to design with meaning. Our projects celebrate our client and community goals with spaces that speak to the stories of our time.
MGA’s work includes private residences, retail and restaurants, academic, cultural, commercial and institutional buildings. Our diverse portfolio finds common ground in a focus on new methods of building with advanced wood products. Our recently completed Wood Innovation and Design Centre is North America’s tallest wood building. We have several US projects that will introduce all new systems of building in wood for office and academic environments. Projects like Ronald McDonald House in Vancouver, the Vancouver Food Bank, North Vancouver City Hall, Rocky Mountain Soap Company headquarters and several restaurant projects high on Whistler Blackcomb Ski Resort highlight the range of our interests and commitment to community projects.
MGA’s awards include a 2015 Royal Architecture Institute of Canada (RAIC) Innovation in Architecture Award, a 2014 Governor General Award, as well as many Lieutenant Governor Awards and North American Wood Design Awards.
