Michele Premoli Silva

worked as an interior architect in Giovanna Bonomi's studio in the early 1990s. In 1995, he became part of Mario Oliveri’s historic Nizzoli studio, becoming his student. He was amongst the founders of the Nizzoli Architettura studio. In 1998 he graduated in architecture from the Polytechnic University of Milan. He deals with the design of offices, commercial areas and residential complexes. In 2001, he was responsible for, and participated in, the anthological exhibition ‘G. Mario Oliveri and the Nizzoli Studies, architecture and design since 1948’, at the Italian House of New York University, in New York. He was amongst the organisers of, and participants in, the exhibition ‘G. Mario Oliveri and the Nizzoli Studies, architecture and design since 1948’ in the Milan Triennale. He designed the armchair ‘Miss Brio’ for Poltrona Frau, and later, the desk ‘Lex’. In 2002, together with Mario Oliveri, he created the new offices for Editoriale Domus. Later the same year, he set up the course in Modern Sacred Architecture and Design and, since 2003, has worked as a professor. From 2001 to 2003, he followed the project of the pedestrian area and covering of Corso Buenos Aires (Milan), and the creation of a large greenhouse holding a museum of sculpture, in Piazzale Loreto, again in Milan.
