À propos de PPA architectures
EN SAVOIR PLUS SUR PPA ARCHITECTURES
Profile
ppa architectures endeavours – particularly within the rapidly developing conurbation of Toulouse – to create urban fabric through buildings and urban projects whose varied programmes and contexts are systematically analysed and questioned from the double point of view of both use and construction.
The practice tries to adapt neutral form, of flexible and frugal construction, to specific architectural and urban proposals that are generous and comfortable.
This ambitious and pragmatic intention is based on a collaborative way of working, multidisciplinary and open, in order to adapt to today's conditions for useful urbanism and architecture.
PPA manages a range of different projects in scale or program. The studio, for example, conducted a contemporary extension of a barn in the Pyrenees, the renovation of an industrial heritage building, the renovation of the sports hall of Toulouse or a large urban improvement project as a mixed 148 housing, shops and landcape program.
Associated with OMA, PPA is currently working on the future Exhibition Parc of Toulouse. Some projects are published and distinguished by architectural prizes and some particular projects also get a financial support from Ademe and Midi Pyrenees territory for their sustainability and ecological standards.
