SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten originates from the offices Schoyerer & partners (founded in 1992 in Frankfurt am Main) and the 1997 take over of Möbius Architekten, Mainz (originally Schoyerer Möbius architects). The proprietor and head architect of SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten is Julian Andreas Schoyerer. Over the years the office has expanded its perimeter of work over the German states of Hessen, Rheinland-Pfalz, Bayern-Württernberg, Bavaria as well as the USA and the UAE, realizing an array of public, commercial and private projects.
SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten develop projects through taking part in competitions, taking on direct commisions and researching case studies. The spectrum of work includes projects in urban- and architectural planning, as well as interior architecture projects. So far designs for exterior- and interior design projects, spaces of public assembly, transport projects, educational-, office- and commercial projects as well as housing-, refurbishment- and conservation projects have been realised. The range of services include every phase of the German Fee Scales for Architects and Engineers (HOAI).
Philosophy
SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten strive to always set a dialogue between architecture and its specific surroundings, guaranteeing a high degree of everyday useability, culture and permanence, in a constructive as well as a formal way. As a result, SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten has won many prizes and awards.
SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten stand for a high degree of depth of planning and precision. The urban and architectural setting is always related to the specific genius loci with all of its spatial and sensuous qualities, its cultural, topografical and user specific characteristics. SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten regularily and succesfully manage to reinterpretate the everyday, consequently generating a wide range of public interest and acceptance by the projects users.
SYRA_Schoyerer Architekten employ five to fifteen architects, working succesfully with partner firms from a multitude of fields.

1980 - 1985 - Studium an der FH Augsburg, TH München und an der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in München
1985 - 1987 - Anstellung am Büro Prof. O.M.Ungers in Frankfurt/Main
1987 - Mitarbeit am Büro Prof. J.P. Kleihues in Rorup-Westfalen
1987 - 1991 - Anstellung am Büro Prof. J.Jourdan und B.Müller als Projektleiter
1992 - 1997 - Selbständigkeit mit Bürositz in Frankfurt
April 1997 - Übernahme des Büros möbius architekten in Mainz
März 2002 - Berufung in den BDA - Bund Deutscher Architekten
ab 2009 - Lehrauftrag an der Hochschule RheinMain Wiesbaden
