Studioshaw is a London-based architecture firm, established in 2016 by Mark Shaw. Working across different typologies of varying scales, Studioshaw looks for the opportunities within each project to challenge the status quo and deliver something original.
Studioshaw has the belief that good design springs from a positive and active engagement with clients and end users; a philosophy particularly embodied in their Child House project, a new vision for NHS England which began with four-months of research with key stakeholders. As a result of this research, Studioshaw is committed to designing buildings with flexibility, to accommodate a rapidly changing physical and technological world.
Studioshaw’s projects range from a co-working club in Hammersmith, a new build restaurant in East London, the re-modelling of an Arts and Crafts era house, the creation of a cultural ‘factory’ in Bethnal Green, and the design of food and retail spaces at an office development in Farringdon.
