VISO is a global multidisciplinary design and manufacturing firm that specializes in contemporary decorative light fixtures. We work with architects and designers in the hospitality, commercial and residential industries. VISO’s range of products and services include: an extensive lighting collection, custom design, rendering services and project consultation. 

Filipe Lisboa, CEO and head designer, founded VISO in Leiria, Portugal in the late 1990s. His unconventional approach to lighting design coupled with VISO’s innovative manufacturing process allows the brand’s lighting to stand out among its peers. In 2006, Lisboa relocated VISO’s corporate headquarters to Toronto, Ontario to service the thriving North American market. Since relocating, the brand has seen exponential growth locally and internationally while expanding its presence in Europe, Hong Kong, Australia, the Middle East, South America and South Africa. 

In 2015, Lisboa and VISO Managing Director, Tzetzy Naydenova, completed the buyout of VISO, providing them with 100% interest in the brand. Over the past six years, they have combined their expertise in design, production, manufacturing and marketing to build an innovative lighting company. In 2016, VISO opened a satellite office and distribution center in Portugal to service the European and Asian markets.

VISO’s “Light is Life” mission is to enable clients to create visually dramatic atmospheres through the use of decorative lighting. VISO lighting has transformed notable projects around the world such as Saks Fifth Avenue, MGM Las Vegas, Audi Corporate Headquarters, LAX Airport, JFK Airport, the Canadian Consulate in Britain, the Royal Group Middle East, Marriott Hotel and Tim Hortons Global Headquarters. Other notable projects include the Four Seasons Hotel and the Viceroy Hotels.
