Surface TSU

My attempt to establish a connection between architecture and design inspired me for the Surface. Its frame has an extensible highly thick end. The tapered section gives a lightness touch emphasizing the wood features. This material is so easy to work that allows me to obtain strong lines and shapes. Extensibility of the end element makes it possible to get bigger sizes and further space, with an easy telescopic aluminium sliding rail system. The wooden top is created trough the so called “folding” technology, that implies a wooden plate without joints. The result is a basic and elegant design that together with light powder coated fi nish, give a fresh look to the solid wood properties. The armchair Sign, with removable upholstering, matches with the rigorous design of the table. The thin frame profi le embraces the seat with its tapered armrest.

The particular frame and back structure guarantees great comfort and optimal ergonomics, bound to a linearity full of details.
