Styling a compact 45m² apartment in the heart of Stockholm with a budget of just €8,000 was no small feat, but the result is a space that exudes timelessness. By focusing on maroon, blue, and green tones, I created a palette that feels both grounded and fresh, perfectly suited to Stockholm’s urban charm.
In small spaces, attention to detail is everything. Every piece was carefully chosen for its seamless integration into the apartment’s Scandinavian aesthetic. Classic Swedish and Danish design played a central role, incorporating clean lines and functional elegance. A maroon velvet sofa anchors the living area, offering warmth and a luxurious feel, while a vintage-inspired blue rug ties the space together. Green accents, like ceramic vases and deep leafy greens - add depth and bring the outdoors in, a nod to Sweden’s love for nature.
Storage solutions were equally thoughtful, with minimalist shelves and Danish-crafted cabinetry blending utility and beauty. The furniture's scale and placement were meticulously planned, ensuring no corner felt cluttered while maximizing the apartment’s functionality.
The result is a harmonious and timeless home that perfectly embodies Scandinavian design, proof that even with limited space and budget, attention to detail and intentional choices can create something truly extraordinary.
