The new building complex that houses the renowned shipping company Freese (Reedereigruppe Freese) is an organic design on cubic lines. The new building, overlooking the Elbe near Hamburg, is contemporary and modern. Together with interior designer Susanne Leson, the shipping company created a successful symbiosis of inside and out.
Practical room structuring and highly developed technologies meet appealing design elements over 360 square meters of usable space. The three floors are eye-catching for passers-by. Private apartments can be found on the ground floor. The two floors above are devoted entirely to office premises. The straight lines of the reception reflect the design of the building and are welcoming for both customer and visitor. Spacious conference areas ensure lightness and transparency. This concept is present throughout and is punctuated with a rounded interior. The route to the individual offices is formed by two sideboards that flank the reception area on the left and right.
The blue color world reflects the company’s corporate design. The shimmering interplay of shades of color in the interior design automatically makes you think of waves on water. The woven carpet Ply Organic Water by Carpet Concept perfectly moulds itself into this setting. With its wave-like structure and the blue of the corporate color, it softly emphasizes the transition between the building’s straight geometrical lines and the dynamic excellence of the Freese shipping group.
The office complex demonstrates structural clarity with its combination of various elements and colors. The lightness of the room structure inside enables concentrated working and a relaxed atmosphere. Precise dynamics merge with hanseatic character.
