The United Nations’ ‘Delegates’ Lounge has recently been refurbished and newly furnished by a Dutch design team which was put together by designer Hella Jongerius. The lounge is used as a meeting place for world leaders and politicians from the 193 United Nations member states. Together with Hella Jongerius the Dutch de Ploeg brand designed a series of woolen upholstery fabric qualities exclusively for the VN lounge seats.
