The new office building is the eye-catcher of the town square. It forms part of a project that points to the future. Part of that programme is the underground car park that extends below the square and a large protective roof incorporating solar panels. The location has also been earmarked for further public transport networking. The ten-metre overhang reaches far across the ramps that lead to and from the underground car park. Given its straightforward shape and, at the same time, spectacular appearance the architects have created a new landmark building vis-à-vis the existing town hall. The façade is composed of EQUITONE fibre cement panels alternating playfully with tall window openings and their louvre shutters in natural light timber.
