EUVAL terrazzo coats the surfaces of one of Germany's most modern schools

Three schools in one building, designed according to the most modern educational principles. The facility also offers numerous sports courses and is regarded as the elite school for sports.

An innovative concept of school, but also of energy construction. Heating and cooling are carried out using geothermal energy. Electricity comes from solar panels placed on the roof of the gymnasium.

The building is designed to be bright, therefore there are large windows, without the need to have the lights on.

Due to its considerable size, a guide system with railings and colored doors indicate which building you are in.

The floorings were made in neutral colors with EUVAL terrazzo 81.10 Weibla and 80.10 Nebas materials.

An interesting compositional scheme was used for the floors through 60x60cm – 60x30cm – 40x40cm formats that make the entire surface dynamic.

The stairs were made continuously in the same material as the flooring, and to increase safety they were equipped with non-slip cuts.

The first and last steps of the staircase were made with a contrast strip provided already integrated into the material, thus breaking down the architectural barriers of the entire building.
