At a leading Scandinavian hospital, an array of healthcare-focused Kvadrat textiles promote healing and wellbeing – and meet stringent hygiene and durability requirements. They feature on diverse furniture, Soft Cells acoustic panels by Kvadrat Acoustics, and Kvadrat Shade roller blinds.
The material and colours of the assorted textiles help to create an aesthetic, acoustically optimised environment characterised by natural materials, which feels relaxed, personal, and familiar. If patients feel better, they heal better.
Seating by Fredericia is upholstered in Hallingdal 65 and Zurich. Softshell HAL chairs by Vitra are also covered in Hallingdal 65, while Twill Weave features on Vitra ArmChairs. The textile Hint covers the Soft Cells acoustic panels in the ceiling.
The Kvadrat Shade roller blinds, which ensure access to views, natural light and thermal comfort, are covered with Athos. Ideal for healthcare facilities, it has been tested according to required hospital standards and can withstand cleaning with disinfecting agents.
Hospital spokesperson: "Kvadrat's products were chosen for their design, quality and longevity. Throughout the project, our dialogue was professional and constructive. There was always a great willingness to adapt products to the demanding quality and hygiene standards of this project."
