Built in the former Ostiense Terminal, Eataly Roma is a megastore for Italian excellence in foods and beverages: the 19th and also the largest of the chain opened around the world by the entrepreneur Oscar Farinetti. Eataly Roma has an overall area of about 17,000 m2, on four levels, to contain 23 dining and tasting points, shops, cooking workshops and a 300-seat auditorium. Where the lighting is concerned, the facility combines the high efficiency of functional solutions supplied by Philips with the outstanding design of fixtures by Luceplan, both on the front line of sustainability thanks to the use of LED technology for very low levels of energy consumption.
