Masquespacio presents the 3 last shops it designed for Kento, the Japanese take away chain, specialized in sushi.
The 3 new concepts that are all located in Valencia, seek to reflect in every moment the avantgarde style of Kento’s shops. Taking as a starting point the design realized by Masquespacio for the first shop during the Summer of 2017, it is the aim to represent the brand identity in each project, but with a new character adapted to the requirements of each location.
Thereby the brand colors are maintained, but always applied on a different material according to each project. On the other hand every design counts with the introduction of a few new materials that as we can see replace the concrete of the first floors, like tiles and the semi-circular wooden strips that remind us of the bamboo from the Asian countries.
The furniture and lighting are modified as well in each project with new finishes, but maintaining mainly the gold and metallic green colors as one of the protagonists.
Christophe Penasse: “With Eduardo Hijlkema, founder of Kento, we agreed that each space could be different to surprise the clients every time. Above we sought to evolve with every new design, adapting us to the situation of each project, its location and needs.”
Ana Hernández: “The aim of the design is to surprise the client every time you enter a new Kento, maintaining elements that clearly identify the Japanese food brand. For us it is a good example of how to maintain your brand image while introducing a new design for each point of sale.”
