Appointed by Schiphol Real Estate and Heddes Bouw & Ontwikkeling, Not Only White supplied 444 Custom Design basins for all hotel rooms, including the prestigious presidential suite on the 11th floor.

A total of 19 different basin configurations were designed to fit the needs of each hotel room.

13 Custom Design Base basins, ranging from 1.3m up to .7m wide, were design and produced for the public restrooms.

Constantina Tsoutsikou from HBA London, responsible designer for the interior design concept of the Hilton Schilhol Amsterdam Hotel, ‘looked for local suppliers of Hi-Macs in The Netherlands, and the Dutch project manager recommended Not Only White. So we met by chance in a way. Not Only White were able to translate our concept into a tangible engineered design, and we took it from there.“

Sustainability was of important influence in Constantina Tsoutsikou’s choice of materials and products. “I am always conscious of how we can best address issues like sustainability and environmental impact in our work. Where does a certain material come from? The work we do is international but I prefer sourcing locally as much as possible. Here, it  made sense to connect with a  good Dutch manufacturer, that we could trust and  work together. The material used, Hi-Macs has a virtually waste free manufacturing process, which is amazing! Working with Not only white was a good choice in that respect.“
