Atherton - San Francisco

In the wonderful district Atherton in San Francisco lies this amazing piece of architecture. The house is not the biggest but there was enough space to make the large stairwell which is open over three stories, to the center piece of the property. This fine crafted helical wood staircase has not only a wood veneer finish, but also a structural wood core. Fully engineered, this staircase combines the upmost security and aesthetic requirements. Like a sculpture it is spiraling upwards and creates an amazing WOW effect when you enter the house.
