Interchange, the recently launched space for entrepreneurs, startups and creatives, is today announcing the opening of Atrium, its flagship building, situated in the heart of Stables Market, Camden. The new complex will offer a range of facilities across four floors, including 600 work stations (both in private offices and hot desking areas), a courtyard, events space, restaurant, innovation lab and cafe, plus a gym is planned for later this year. As well as this, Interchange also provides support to companies and individuals aiming to grow their businesses, including networking events across its Camden buildings, as well as access to industry experts and affiliate investors.
Commenting on the launch, Interchange Managing Director, Vanessa Butz, said: “Since the opening of our first Camden-based coworking space, Triangle, at the end of last year, Interchange has experienced high demand from both new and more established businesses and has had some fantastic tenants move in across a variety of sectors, including retail, healthcare, fintech and design. In fact, demand has been so strong, Atrium is launching with over 50% of the space already pre-let and will offer further state-of-the-art coworking for Interchange tenants, as well as strengthen the startup ecosystem in the local area.”
In total, the Interchange buildings (including Triangle, Utopia and Atrium) span 84,000 sq ft, with Atrium and Triangle’s interiors, lighting and furniture designed by Design Research Studio under the creative direction of Tom Dixon, the acclaimed British designer whose past work includes Shoreditch House and the Mondrian Hotel, London. The buildings and internal spaces, designed by leading Architects Barr Gazetas, are focused on true community working through expert curation of complex floor plans. The unique design of the Atrium building features a central spiralling walkway, with interaction spaces and covered terraces, including vertical gardens.
Interchange tenants already confirmed to move into Atrium, include: Cisco Create (a division of Cisco focusing on new technologies); Fever Up, an event recommendation app; Satago, a fintech company; and Inpost, a delivery startup. Further current Interchange tenants include: Osper, a company specialising in mobile banking for young people; Doctify, a site which connects patients with healthcare professionals; and early-stage startup accelerator, IncuBus. In addition to the wealth of facilities and support on offer, Interchange tenants also have the unique opportunity to establish their own retail spaces in the iconic Camden Markets, which has over 28 million visitors per year.
Interchange is part of Market Tech Holdings, a public company that combines iconic real estate assets with e-commerce. Office space available ranges from private offices for growing companies, to flexible desk space for entrepreneurs that can be rented by the day - all at affordable rates. Atrium Kitchen, the stand-alone restaurant and bar located at the entrance to Atrium, is serving the best of Modern British cuisine and premium drinks for every occasion. Atrium Kitchen will provide Interchangers with a great spot for lunch or dinner, either eat-in or delivery to their office or meeting room, as well as becoming an impressive new addition to the Camden Market food and beverage scene.
