The innovative Lounge kitchen system proposes a highly developed interpretation of the concept of maximum functionality, revisiting the meanings of quality and everyday life with a view to making the kitchen an even more cosy, functional and aesthetically gratifying environment and the favourite place in the home.
The key elements of Lounge are the change in proportions: an increase in volumes and greater storage capacity of the wall and base units (reduced, 8 cm high plinth); and new design standards, which use dedicated materials to define a more contemporary, sophisticated appearance: precious woods or ones featuring particular workmanship, gloss, matt and liquid metal finish lacquers, Fenix® laminates, decorative foils, steel and now gloss and opaque lacquered glass, canneté wood and canneté matt lacquer and metal finishes.
In addition to Scrigno, a system of tall units featuring doors that open into a recessed in the side, which enable them to accommodate electrical appliances or to interpret the larder in an innovative way, Lounge proposes Maxi tall units with full door, creating a clean-cut, linear appearance
The Lounge opening system uses the ShellSystem frame, a further development of the “shell” construction systems, also with the Pro profile running along the entire edge of the door.
Lounge in Nero Opaque Lacquered Glass and Cannetè Noce Chiaro wood.
The arrangement consists of three functional blocks: 2 islands arranged in an L shape and a block of 5 tall units.
Kitchen storage is delegated to the tall units with full-height doors, which conceal a spacious larder along with the refrigerator.
Each island has a specific operational function: washing is delegated to the island in Nero Opaque Lacquered Glass, while the cooking is done on the Cannetè Noce Chiaro wood island.
The two islands are connected by 4 modules from the new Gravity system, 1.5 cm thick metal shelving units in bronze finish, which have glass shelves and can be accessorised with wooden trays in Noce Chiaro and Rovere Scuro finish or with wine glass racks.
This shelving unit in turn is balanced against Gravity standing next to the tall units, consisting this time of just two modules.
Gravity is modular and can be combined with breakfast bars, tall units and other kitchen elements, and is therefore highly versatile and customisable.
Another new addition is the highly original Cannetè finish, which as well as being available in the Noce Chiaro and Rovere Scuro woods, offers a palette of 11 matte shades and 2 matte lacquer Metallo Liquido finishes.
The main characteristic of Cannetè wood is the undulating pattern on the surface of the door, which is both pleasant to the touch, as the grooves are regular and symmetrical, and in appearance due to the refined, elegant effect of this precious finish.
