It sometimes takes a very particular hue to create the perfect bathroom atmosphere, which is why Bette offers its products in a colour range broad enough to satisfy every taste.

×At ISH 2019, it became clear just how strong a role colour now plays in bathroom design. Architects and interior designers have recognised the growing importance of the subject and know how subtly the overall impression of a bathroom can be influenced by the right choice of colours. White, certainly, is still one of the most popular. But many other colours today complement the palette of the bathroom, making it a cosy, homely place.
With a broad variety of colours from common sanitary colours and a total of 22 of its own matt colours, Bette has a portfolio that leaves nothing to be desired. Bette’s ‘Blue Satin’ effect colour is currently particularly popular: bathtubs, washbasins and shower areas in this colour have their own homely elegance – and they promise peace and relaxation in the bathroom.

×But should a designer ever really need a very specific, individual tone, Bette can also realise it – provided that the order is of a certain size. In such cases, pigments are mixed in their colour laboratory and then permanently fused with the titanium steel using Bette's proven wet-on-wet enamelling process. In premium hotels in particular, individual colour matching of bathrooms to the in-house colour identity is now an integral part of branding.
Sven Rensinghoff, Head of Marketing at Bette, is well aware of the importance of corporate colours: 'Individual colour requirements for large construction projects are nothing unusual for us. Sometimes it should be a special colour to bring a special emotion to the bathroom'. Aspects such as cosiness and modernity have long been decisive factors not only in the furnishing of private bathrooms, but also in creating that 'home away from home' feeling in hotels.
