Berlin-based product designer Dominik Tesseraux is concerned. But in a good way.
The resolutely reduced, ultra-minimal shower tray that he's designed for go-to bathroom brand Bette – made out of the German manufacturer's signature material, glazed titanium steel – is so 'unspectacular at first glance', as he puts it, that he's slightly worried it won't get the attention it deserves.
Herr Tesseraux needn't fear. For BetteAir (just the latest product in his ongoing collaboration with Bette), with its 100% flush-mounting and rim height of a mere 10mm, is so architectural, it's game-changing. Ultra-clean lines while you clean yourself. That's real purity.
