×The development of the build-to-rent concept (BTR) is a growing trend in the housing market, not only in the UK but also in other markets where the prohibitive cost of real estate makes it virtually impossible for younger generations to invest. In Brentford, West London, one of these developments, Apo Kew Bridge Apartments, has been conceived with an eye for the fact that taste is personal, and that for younger people in particular, there is clear enthusiasm when it comes to their ability to choose personalised home interiors.

×In collaboration with BoConcept, the Apo Kew Bridge BTR project offers new-build urban apartments which can be decorated to the tenant’s tastes. Different flavours have been developed to accommodate different desired atmospheres and are named Urban Luxe, Avantgarde, Back to Nature and Soothing Shades. Due to the broad range of furniture and accessory designs and the variety of materials and colours in which they are available, rental spaces can be transformed into personally customised homes.

×BoConcept‘s Ottawa chair, created by award-winning designer Karim Rashid, is an apt example of a chair that answers today’s requirements, providing character, comfort, durability as well as a reasonable price tag. Its leaf-shaped seat visually stands out and when seated, it gently embraces the body, offering total support.
The project in Brentford demonstrates how with BoConcept as an optimal partner, offering such turnkey solutions to architects, specifiers and developers, it's possible to flexibly react to contemporary urban demands and individual desires.
