Höxter, in spring 2014. The "modul space" product from Bosse Design has an interesting history and a promising future. The original idea of developing a tube and connector system came from the Danish designer and architect Poul Cadovius who received international awards for it in 1961 and 1962. Cadovius thus laid the foundations for the tubular frame systems that we know and love today.

One of these is "modul space". The modular structure comprises just thee components: enclosed connectors, chrome tubes and system panels made from a variety of materials. By combining these three components, Bosse Design produces German-quality furniture that is both individual and timeless.

The system has a number of features that make it unique. These include the end-to-end design and the combination of metal and wood. "modul space" also offers great potential for individualisation. For example, Bosse offers customers a wide range of panels in different materials. With anything from robust melamine surfaces in a wide range of colours and finishes to exquisite high-gloss lacquered surfaces, film-coated glass and veneers, individualists are not the only ones who will be impressed.

This amazing variety is essentially down to the fact that there are over 30 standard tube lengths. When combined with the enclosed connectors and panels, they allow almost limitless creative design options. The possibilities are virtually limitless – whether it be in public areas or in upmarket homes. Since 2010, "modul space" has been further developed specially for the demanding home furniture segment and sold exclusively under the "Dauphin Home" brand name. Reception counters, lounge solutions, conference rooms, managerial offices, team office areas, home furnishings, seating or communicative furniture – everything is possible with Bosse "modul space".

Whatever is created using the system, its end-to-end design ensures a linear, timeless furniture style with great scope for individual touches. "modul space" is designed to allow the items of furniture to be updated at any time, for example if the colours no longer appeal. This reduces investment costs and protects the environment by saving resources.
