The latest smart solutions from Busch-Jaeger for secure living

With the Busch-Watchdog® PRO and the Busch-Welcome® door communication technology, houses and buildings are completely secure in a convenient way.

Detecting external threats early is one of the oldest security principles known to mankind, and it continues to prove its worth to this day. Using the latest technologies, Busch-Jaeger has developed motion detectors based on the basic idea of vigilance, so to speak, which for over 35 years have reliably signalled anyone approaching a house, yard or building. Now, with the Busch-Watchdog PRO, a new generation is launching, offering precise solutions for every application thanks to innovation, an easy installation and a timeless design.  

Angular precision and high-quality lenses ensure that only relevant movements are detected by the Busch-Watchdog PRO. The Busch-Watchdog PRO 90° is ideal for terraced houses, as the detection range can be precisely adapted to the narrow entrance area. Unnecessary notifications – such as movements on neighbouring properties and at other people's entrances – are eliminated. In addition, all Busch-Watchdog PRO models automatically suppress recurring static heat movements.

The Busch-Watchdog PRO 220° easily covers an entire facade front and is therefore ideal for larger buildings. On the other hand, the Busch-Watchdog PRO 280° is ideal for residential complexes or private houses with carports on the side. The sensor is installed at a corner and hence even detects two sides of the facade, even with angled architecture. In all of the models, three joints allow for precise alignment, while the detection field, sensitivity, activation threshold and delay time can be adjusted at any time via the app.

For an overall harmonious impression, the Busch-Watchdog PRO is available with a round and a square base variant. The design is flexible, as the square frame can optionally be snapped onto the round base. Further adaptation to aesthetic facade concepts is made possible by the selection of trendy colours: from studio white to aluminium silver and stainless steel to anthracite and brown.

With Busch-Welcome®, the topic of security can be further expanded. As a 2-wire or IP solution, the HD video communication system offers the possibility of outdoor, indoor and remote monitoring of residential and commercial buildings. An integrated camera shows who is at the door, and via an indoor intercom system or app, it is possible to speak to the person and then even open the door remotely.

The new, optimised IP-based version of the system stands out primarily due to its simplified programming and parametrisation. With Busch-Welcome® IP, a guided process enables error-free installation, whether it is used in a single-family home or interconnected building complexes – where all devices are managed centrally via Smart Access Point Pro. The associated software helps to integrate the desired devices into the network. In addition, no Smart Access Point is required for single-family homes; the software with installation wizard is sufficient for coupling the doorbell with four indoor stations and a switching actuator.

Busch-Welcome® IP can be used with beautifully designed indoor stations, but also on the PC or with SIP telephones, as the outdoor station can be connected to all common SIP software clients. Devices from other manufacturers can also be integrated via an API interface or SIP connection. The The IP Touch 7 or IP Touch 10 indoor station offers an intuitive user interface and enables the control of various functions in the building and at the door.

Busch-Welcome® 2-wire has also been further developed. With intelligent indoor stations, the system sets new standards. The indoor video station 4.3’ has a slim surface-mounted display and is a convenient entry-level model for door communication.

The Busch-OneTouch 7” panel has an integrated Busch-free@home® wireless system access point, Wi-Fi connection and an app interface. Devices compatible with the Matter smart home standard can be seamlessly integrated and controlled to promote interoperability between home automation devices across manufacturers and prevent fragmentation.
