×The fact that the world can be turned on its head – and within a very short space of time, too – has become all the more clear to us in the last year or two. But it is not only since the pandemic that the rate of change has reached such levels. Anyone aiming to keep their head and, above all, style in the face of ever-fluctuating trends needs unwavering principles, a selective feel and, moreover, good taste.
It’s reassuring to know that there are still people and brands out there that remain calmly aware of the race of time, without letting it throw them off their game – like Christine Kröncke Interior Design, which has been one of the top names in reliable style for almost five decades.
The right mix is decisive: Every interior design is made up of carefully selected materials, from fine woods and leathers to the highest-quality fabrics and surfaces

×Since 1974, the company with its own showroom in Munich’s Ludwigpalais has been a go-to partner for exclusive home furnishings that confidently and unmistakably express the personality of each individual customer. Far from coincidence, this has rather to do with the highest levels of professionalism, years of expertise, and a distinctly fine sense for people.
The latter is also proven by the company's renowned founder Christine Kröncke and her two successors, Frank Stohlmeyer and Jörg von Sichart, who have continued to run the company as dual leaders since 2010. For more than 30 years, Stohlmeyer has applied his strengths as a trained businessman and wood mechanic in the quest for creating style. As a trained carpenter and economist, Von Sichart has supported the company since 2006 and, together with their team, the two continue along the company's well-proven path.

×Its portfolio ranges from individual pieces by selected designers and their own design team to the design of complete interiors. An extensive range of timeless designs that focus on high quality materials and sustainability. 'Made in Germany' is both a conviction and a principle, here. Whether it's an elegant sofa, a solid dining table, a beautiful lamp, or a curated home accessory, each piece provides inspiration with its exquisite materials and precise workmanship and can be combined with others in an imaginative way. In the end, it is always the holistic approach that counts. From the big picture to the smallest detail.

Even though Stohlmeyer and von Sichart remain true to the company’s philosophy, they continue to operate according to the spirit of the times. Digitalisation, for example, is not simply a short-lived trend but rather a development which opens up a new world of possibilities for interior design. Although it can be difficult to replace the experience of seeing a piece of furniture up close, hybrid concepts can support the selection and simplify the decision-making process.

×For architects and interior designers in particular, new digital planning and visualisation tools bring many advantages. In order to get an exact picture of the design and avoid mistakes, the entire collection is available for download as 3D and 2D CAD planning models in all common file formats.
The company also offers the option of having furnishing ideas planned by the in-house team of experts. Always in close exchange with the customer. Whether it is a private or commercial project, a hotel or restaurant, or a public building.
If you want to go one virtual step further, thanks to augmented reality, a computer-assisted enhancement of reality perception, furniture and lights can be placed in the design. With the help of AR glasses or a suitable tablet, new living environment can be shown to the client right in front of their eyes.

×The website now also offers atmospheric product videos that present each piece of furniture from its best – and indeed all – sides, thereby providing meaningful insight into form, materials, and patterns – versatile furnishing and planning aids that visibly move and inspire. Stohlmeyer and von Sichart continue to welcome personal visits and are on hand with professional style advice from the brainstorming stage to realisation.
‘I live for life. Every day’. With these words, Christine Kröncke captures not only her passion but also the Zeitgeist. The home serves as our reliable base and is a world of its own in which we can feel comfortable in all aspects, where we can celebrate our own sense of life and style, right down to the last detail. And if anyone knows these four walls inside out, along with their myriad possibilities, it's Christine Kröncke Interior Design.
