Franke: Systematic kitchens

The name Franke stands worldwide for intelligent kitchen systems, reliability and expertise – from food and meal preparation, to the hygienic disposal of residues and waste. The extensive product range encompasses sinks, taps and worktops, hobs and ovens, cooker hoods and waste systems, and with the new Frames by Franke product line a new dimension has been reached in professional kitchen design.

The system consists of 44 elements, which are designed in such a way that they work together harmoniously and can be freely combined. The built-in appliances in classic black or elegant champagne offer innovative, high-performance technology, and are compatible with the corresponding sinks, basins, faucets and accessories. This is primarily ensured by a consistent design concept, which is based on narrow stainless-steel frames, matching handles, surfaces and controls. Kitchens assembled in this way are suitable for all the needs of everyday life – from urban stand-alone solutions to professionally-equipped kitchens. However, the elements are not just harmonious in terms of design, they are also perfectly balanced in terms of function, supporting all workflows when preparing, cooking and serving food. One special feature is the so-called night mode. This means that with an open living-space solution, the kitchen blends in harmoniously with the entire room atmosphere. In an instant, cooker hoods can be lowered, controls made invisible and sinks covered – for example, with the new lightboard. In the evening, this illuminated glass cutting board with its atmospheric lighting effects serves as a discreet cover, and can otherwise be used as a scale or cutting mat.

Frames by Franke has already won many prestigious awards, including the iF Design Award 2016, the ‘KüchenInnovation des Jahres®’ (Kitchen Innovation of the Year) 2016 award, and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016.
