The history of Ege Textilmanufaktur is closely linked with the long tradition of linen weaving in the Swabian Jura. Back when it was founded in 1930, the firm aimed to meet the very highest standards of quality, and that hasn’t changed to this very day. “We’ve always made and distributed our products ourselves – we offer our customers a one-stop solution,” says Christoph Ege of the firm’s recipe for success. Besides the delight they take in their craftsmanship, it’s the close contact with private customers that drives the team of specialists.

Christoph Ege puts it in a nutshell: “Our motivation comes from the demanding requirements of our discerning customers, the unique artisanal skills of our staff and our uncompromising love of quality and perfection – taken together, that adds up to the textile treasures we produce in our atelier.”

Exclusively made lace from St. Gallen, custom-designed brocaded damask from Piedmont, heavy pure linen, woven by a little artisanal factory in Ireland, gorgeous paisley fabrics, the finest Giza cotton from Egypt, rare Mongolian cashmere, unusual double-weave jacquards – these are the precious materials Ege uses for its products – nothing is impossible. The textile specialist combines craftsmanship with contemporary requirements and has evolved into an exclusive centre for bespoke table and bed linens.
