×As tastes change and lifestyles evolve, even classic designs need to be updated to remain relevant. The decision to give GROHE’s popular Atrio faucet a contemporary makeover was not taken lightly, but the result is a more aesthetically precise and elegant product that is perfectly suited to a wide range of modern bathroom schemes.
The redesign focused on reducing Atrio’s form to its fundamental elements. GROHE’s established design DNA informed this process of simplification, with the circle providing the basis for the faucet’s overall form, while the round spout angled precisely at seven degrees is a classic GROHE reference. The result is an immensely versatile product with a timeless simplicity.

×The clean lines and familiar shapes of Atrio’s updated design ensure it enhances both minimal bathroom schemes as well as more cosmopolitan or eclectic spaces. The comprehensive brassware collection includes a range of different sizes and mounting options to allow it to be used in combination with any sink or bath configuration. The option to specify the items in one of GROHE’s exclusive SPA Colours, such as SuperSteel or Brushed Hard Graphite, also provides an opportunity to customise the design to suit individual tastes.
“Atrio has a contemporary feel, but I think with the right colour and finish this collection can totally transform itself into a cosmopolitan or classic environment,” suggests GROHE’s Vice President Design, Michael Seum, who oversaw the redesign. “This gives consumers, architects, and interior designers freedom to use it in any way possible.”
