Making energy flow with Hager

At this year's Light + Building, the company will present how it gets energy flowing in living, learning and working environments and what exactly this means for the everyday lives of architects and planners. With a wide range of application examples, the 1,350 m2 booth will show how innovative the range is, but also how consistently it is oriented towards user needs and makes the work of building planners easier.

In addition to the high standards set by the Hager, Berker and Elcom brands with energy-efficient power storage units for residential buildings, charging solutions for apartment buildings and commercial premises, intelligent infrastructure in offices, modern electrical installations in schools, excellent switch ranges and contemporary door communication, the company also stands for creative support for unusual building projects and ‘out of the box’ thinking with its own manufactory.

At the first autumn edition of the world's leading trade fair for lighting and building technology, Hager is presenting its home energy management system flow – a complete solution for detached and semi-detached houses with their own photovoltaic power generation. With energy storage, energy manager and charging station, the system ensures economic coordination of self-produced electricity and energy consumption around the clock.

The topic of e-mobility is becoming increasingly important – in residential buildings and for companies. In order to meet the associated demand for e-charging, Hager has developed the witty share charging station system with associated load manager for apartment buildings and residential complexes.

In the modern office world, power and data distribution presents architects with a particular challenge. But here, too, Hager has solutions ready that ensure flexible supply and make visual compromises unnecessary thanks to cable routing in the floor, wall and ceiling.

With the Hager media column, classrooms are easily equipped for modern requirements. Control and protection devices for power distribution and all switching and operating devices converge here. There are connections for computers, audio and video technology, Smartboard control elements as well as switches and sockets, among other things.

The company, which became known for its meter and distribution cabinets, now offers a wide range of products and services that are pioneering in terms of technology, aesthetics and practicality – including the Berker and Elcom brands.
