From September 2–6, 2016 – Parc des Expositions Paris Nord Villepinte
MAISON&OBJET PARIS, the leading event for lifestyle professionals around the world, is back! A major hub for lifestyle, for industry, and attracting over 3,000 global brands. The show is both inspirational and professional. Actors from across the industry showcase a variety of products that represent a comprehensive overview of excellence and innovation. This September, MAISON&OBJET PARIS evolves even further to provide specifiers with an ever-more enriching and efficient experience, while giving exhibitors a greater opportunity to enlarge their offer.
Back to MAISON&OBJET l PROJETS I
Every September, MAISON&OBJET I PROJETS I returns. This yearly showcase is dedicated to exhibitors showing premium solutions for interior design and architecture. This year there is a twist. The creation of a new hub called INFLUENCES which presents a high-end offering of products by industry specifiers and greater synergy that encompasses both Halls 7 and 8. While the entirety of Hall 8 is devoted to unique know-how which eventually will set apart any architectural project thanks to creative, high-end or even bespoke products.
Networking in the DESIGNERS’ STUDIO
The space at MAISON&OBJET that encourages meet-ups! In the heart of Hall 8, 2016 Designer of the Year Ilse Crawford has created a co-working environment meant to foster exchange that has been exclusively designed for specifiers, hotel owners, architects, interior designers and journalists. The space is generous, having been divided into zones where different typologies of furniture and lighting are carefully grouped to enhance professional connections. The space optimizes these interactions and is a welcome haven from the hustle and bustle of the show, being transformed into a place to recharge, rethink and reconnect.
Paris Design Week: the complete universe of M&O in Paris
Overlapping MAISON&OBJET PARIS from the 3rd to the 10th of September Paris Design Week unites both a French and increasingly international design community and immerses the city in cocktails, exhibitions and promenades. A new visual identity by graphic design studio deValence reveals graphically the importance of Paris Design Week as a sort of cultural mapping, or even go as far as saying a topography, of the MAISON&OBJET show. “We designed a system of arrows that imitates the signage found on hiking trails,” describes Alexander Dimos, one of the two founders. Five promenades integrating the very best of design from the Left to the Right Bank are waiting to be discovered and celebrated.
