Customer experience is at the heart of our business! Industry professionals will find a rich and inspiring visitor experience. The updated floor plan will allow exhibitors to reach new markets. Looking to broaden its professional audience while continuing to meet exhibitor expectation MAISON&OBJET PARIS is once again upgrading the trade fair experience by bringing innovative concepts and practical solutions to the upcoming January show.
Another highlight is a repositioned textile offering that will spotlight home linens in Hall 4 and 5A, while decorative textiles will be presented throughout the entirety of the show. For specifiers, Hall 5B will be dedicated to architectural solutions and techniques with over 50 specialized exhibitors, and there will also be a shuttle bus that will connect this hall to Halls 7&8.
The KIDS section in Hall 6 has been moved upmarket over time and now presents a complete range of products including toys, furniture and accessories from baby to infant, as well as being specialised for both gift retailers and concept stores in addition to established brands. Every kid’s dream!
To define the ‘French touch’, M&O Paris has partnered with French furniture manufacturers (l’Ameublement française) to identify the characteristics of French design. There will be an international exhibition launched in 2017 in partnership with the VIA entitled: “No taste for bad taste”! So A foretaste of good taste? 25 manufacturers with the label AF will be unveiled at the show.
M&O’s INFLUENCES Hub (Halls 7&8) presents a high-end offering. A source of inspiration, blended ideas and mutual influence, the two sectors NOW! DESIGN À VIVRE and SCÈNES D’INTÉRIEUR GALLERY extend alongside one another throughout Hall 7, giving an exclusive overview of today’s creative industry.
The MAISON&OBJET PARIS Observatoire has researched the theme SILENCE for the Inspirations part of the show. Serving as a haven from the roaring sound of words and landscape of images, home is where we find the quiet we long for. The theme will be presented in the Inspirations Forum, with scenography by Elizabeth Leriche, in the Inspirations Book and in the Bookstore-Café, designed by Vincent Grégoire.
The Designer of the Year for January is Pierre Charpin. Whether he is designing a collection for Galerie Kréo, a line of vases for the Manufacture Nationale de Sèvres, a series of ottomans for Ligne Roset or lamps for Wrong, London, Pierre Charpin keeps his eye for artistic gesture and stamps his unique style on every piece he designs.
