5 extra reasons to visit MoOD.
1) Reliance launches Recron FS (Fire Safe) worldwide at MoOD.
Reliance Industries from Mumbai is convinced that MoOD 2017 is the perfect platform to launch its Flame Retardant brand Recron FS. Reliance is the largest integrated producer of polyester fibres and yarns worldwide. Their environment friendly brand Recron FS is the perfect product to be used in home textiles, hospitality, entertainment and transport industries.
2) ZWoven Europe, a totally new collection for the European market
An eye-catching return is made by the Chinese Zhong Wang, one of the biggest weavers in China. The ZWoven collection, designed by Mark Geysen (BE), is marketed and commercialised by Guy Parmentier (BE). In other words: it is supported by ‘connaisseurs’ of the European market, choosing MoOD to 'attack' this market. The fashionable collection based on textile know-how from both Belgium and China is a unique project, aimed at importers and the ‘large industry’.
3) A lot more velvets on offer.
We notice the return of Rekor who will be launching their velvet collection in Brussels! Also returning to MoOD with an inspiring velvet offer are On-Em, Prestige and Yakar.
4) The offer in high-end window coverings is expanded.
Interesting high-quality newcomers in the sector of high-end window coverings are Lale Mefrusat, Bezmez and Moral. All aiming at the buyer of quality.
5) Even more qualitative and trendy upholstery fabrics from Spain and Israel
An interesting name is Fernando Cerdá & Hijos who will present their indoor upholstery brand Cerdalon exclusively at MoOD. The Spanish company Francisco Jover is coming back in September, offering high-level upholstery, curtains, and outdoor and contract fabrics. Another very interesting returning exhibitor is Nachik from Israel. Nachik was a two-time Blue Drop Award winner in the past and is known for high-quality and very trendy upholstery.
Indigo Brussels: 7 new studios, 10 returning
Indigo Brussels can meanwhile report how its own venue in Tour & Taxis, Shed 4, had to open a waiting-list at the end of May because the space was fully booked, due to a very high demand. Indigo Brussels announces a total of about 90 exhibitors in September!
No less than 7 new studios will be participating at Indigo for the very first time: EM Design (DE), Bella Parizjeva (BE), Jane Dixon (US), Studio Hilla (FI), Bitte Stenström (SE) and Patrizia Ortenzi (IT). Also new is the Brazilian print studio Estudio Prius which is always searching for new manual techniques to use in its designs. These newcomers are illustrating how truly international Indigo Brussels is.
