×We are living in an era of active interiors where shifting perimeters, flexible set ups and agile activities are truly testing the limits of design; workspaces are hybrid, retail installations are ever-evolving and cultural spaces are multi-dimensional. Amidst changing scenarios, lighting is key to shaping interior spaces with just the right amount of mood, drama or practical spotlighting. To meet the demands of these cutting-edge interiors, today lighting must provide a solid framework that can embrace both changing dynamics and high quality consistency – offering flexibility, precision control and a timeless aesthetic.
Rising to the challenge is Reggiani's new lighting system ‘Outline’, designed for adaptability with minimalism, modularity and customisation. The system features an ultra-slim track available in linear and curved segments, ready to be tailored into endless freeform or geometric configurations. To this base, a choice of projectors, pendants and linear LED lighting fixtures can be added, so designers can model the experience and intensity of light with absolute control across spaces – from showrooms and warehouses to hospitality and retail.

×On the right track
Established in 1957, Italian lighting company Reggiani has gained a reputation for specialised spotlighting and ultra-controllable lighting. It prides itself on an open, collaborative and problem-solving approach which results in innovative technological lighting solutions that contend with the demands of the industry. For Reggiani, this future-focused vision goes hand-in-hand with its foundational values; the expertise of 60 years' experience, open-minded industry collaboration with lighting designers and architects, and a personal, family-run approach that prioritises high quality and personalised customer service.

The Outline system track has been designed to seamlessly adapt to any architectural interior, making life easier for architects and designers. At just 11mm wide, it is a subtle and minimal frame that allows activities to take place centre stage. Totally customisable, the track itself can also be used creatively as a form of expression. An organic configuration could snake through a showroom, guiding a clear pathway for curious visitors. On the other hand, a geometric formation could neatly illuminate the edges of a retail window display, creating an eye-catching stage set for passersby.

×Sculpting light
The slim track is complemented by the ultra-miniaturised engineering of Outline's projector and pendant lighting fixtures, as well as the ultra-small adapters that secure the fixtures to the track. Again, their positioning and style can be adapted to the activity of the space; blending seamlessly into the track, or extending to draw focus and direct spotlighting to create an exact atmosphere, whether dramatic or subtle.
With such a flexible and adaptable framework, designers can truly become artists of light itself, sculpting space and atmosphere without distractions
The Yori Pendant Outline is an ideal choice for precise spotlighting, elegantly extending over a bar area in a restaurant, for instance, while being surrounded by softer mood lighting. Meanwhile, the adjustable and ultra-miniaturised Incline Outline 24V – Adjustable represents a reliable retail lighting solution, especially for shop windows and other architectural structures.

×Creative flexibility
While minimal, there’s also plenty of options to play with when it comes to the system. As well as multiple sizes and styles of fixture and track, there are 11 finishes available for the projectors and pendants, ranging from monochromes to metallics; and five finishes available for the track. The light beam itself can be customised too, with options for interchangeable integrated accessories, such as colour temperature filters and anti-glare lenses.

With such a flexible and adaptable framework, designers can truly become artists of light itself, sculpting space and atmosphere without distractions – whether it is for a slick corporate office, an atmospheric restaurant or a stylish contemporary gallery.
