×Only some materials can withstand the high functionality needed for the hospitality sector. Hotels, restaurants and cafes place high demands on their materials, spaces and designs, which must be intensely durable and hygienic. Glass is one such material: notoriously tough and flexible, sustainable, and a material that Italian design brand Tecnografica, has been developing into functional yet artistic decorative panels for hard-working interior spaces.

×Since 1992, it has been Tecnografica’s mission to combine the best of design and technology to provide modern decorative surfaces that combine impactful artistry with practicality – a combination that is especially important for hospitality projects. The latest 'Minerals' collection produced for the new Dècora Glass range – a decorative panel in laminated glass – is one such example, just launched at the 2021 Cersaie exhibition in Bologna.

בThe first impression of a public space is the aesthetic one. If a customer feels comfortable and surrounded by beauty, the experience in that space will certainly have more chances to be positive and – hopefully – unforgettable. Our Dècora Glass panels can help achieve that goal, immediately creating a "wow-effect" for users and giving completeness to the style of the environment,’ says Stefano Lamberti, Head of Sales and Marketing at Tecnografica.
Tecnografica’s creative approach to the Minerals Collection celebrates the physical and chemical transformations of minerals that can develop in seconds or over thousands of years
Setting an immersive scene is made possible with Tecnografica through the ability to cover large surfaces with single or different artistic designs, or also with a continuous design pattern, printed on many panels installed side by side. Dècora Glass panels are available in dimensions, up to 1480x3000 mm, as well as custom shapes and sizes. The powerful resistance of panels means they can also be used for countertops or support surfaces on tables and furniture, or even backlit – bringing a scenographic effect to high-end residential and commercial projects, as well as to the hospitality sector.

×Today, consumers seek concepts and characterful identities that they can feel connected to, or can share with their friends. Tecnografica’s creative approach to the Minerals Collection drew on the ‘distant tales of ancient natural stones’, celebrating the physical and chemical transformations of minerals that can develop in seconds or over thousands of years. The detailed textures of agates, amethysts, mochaite, quartz and fossil stones are achieved through the excellent quality of Tecnografica’s digital printing which highlights the brilliance of the colours and the finesse of the details.

×Across the four design options – Giant Agate, Mokaite, Quartz-Wood and Shell – a variety of colours can be found to suit many types of interiors. Giant Agate design features light blues, silver tones and powerful touches of red and yellow. Mokaite and Quartz-Wood are softer, with creamy, honey-coloured combinations and tiny patterned outlines that form distinct landscapes across the panels, while the shapes found in Shell draw the eye in meditative circles, following the delicate, curvy, snail-like lines of fossils.
Thanks to Tecnografica’s mastery of design technology, each unique panel design can be entirely customised to suit the specific characteristics of an interior project. So, as well as functionality and artistry, designers can bring their own creativity to the process with the freedom to design across the Dècora Glass range.

בEach graphic design can be personalised in order, for example, to perfectly match the chromatic palette of a specific room, or to enhance a certain detail of the graphic itself. Moreover, customers can choose to print an alternative wallpaper design on our Dècora Glass panels. This allows us to further widen the design possibilities for all our customers and partners,’ says Lamberti.
