At Drummonds we manufacture all our baths in our cast iron foundry, using highly skilled craftsmen who take great pride in their work.
We finish the inside and outside of our baths by hand. The inside is enamelled with dry frit vitreous enamel, this involves heating the bath to red-hot and sprinkling by hand, dry frit onto the surface so that it bonds with it.
This process it repeated up to 5 times and requires great skill to achieve perfect coverage and a beautiful undulating appearance. We then finish the exterior of our baths to a level unmatched by our competitors giving you a variety of finishes.
