Acoustic panels for ceilings and walls
The Acústica XXI panels combine different types of perforation with a wide range of finishing thus integrating perfectly in any environment, operating as a high quality system developed specifically to create comfortable environments in terms of aesthetics and sound absorption and diffusion.
Acoustic conditioning panels manufactured by Castelhano & Ferreira, S.A. establish a perfect relation between the need to reflect and absorb sound, creating balanced spaces in terms of acoustics.
Wood has a key role regarding the interior finishing, particularly in ample spaces where the need for more pleasant and comfortable spaces is significant. Manufactured in fire-retardant MDF (with M1 characteristics, according to standards UNE 23727 and B-s2-d0, UNE-EN 13501-1), Acústica XXI panels and boards meet that need, while performing at the acoustic conditioning level. Foam panels are also fire-retardant, allowing them to be assembled in all types of buildings.
The acoustic panels were tested by the Acoustics Department of Faculty of Engineering at the University of Oporto as well as by LNEC and ITeCons (Portugal).
