MARK is a dynamic new furniture and lifestyle brand from Cornwall. Championing the skilled craftsmanship of local manufacturers as well as the very best design, MARK’s products reflect the values of contemporary Cornwall.

Nominated by Elle Decoration for the British Design Awards, Best new brand and winners of the Blueprint 100% Design award for best new interior product for the Net chair by Sam Johnson.

The company, founded by Anna Hart and John Miller, is working with a team of acclaimed designers who have been given the brief to design quality furniture that does not compromise on comfort, usability and sustainability.

Cornwall

Cornwall fires the imagination. It has for a long time. From the famous St Ives and Newlyn schools of artists drawn here for the space, clarity and special quality of the light in the late 19th century to the pioneering inventions of the great industrial age that were exported across the world and shape the way we live today (including steam engine technology – developed here 28 years before Stevenson’s Rocket – communications technology, tin cans and gas lighting in houses).

In the 21st century, Cornwall is once again making its mark nationally and internationally as a leader in sustainable design, green technologies and renewable energy. It also has a thriving creative community, with the highest number of art, design and media practitioners outside London.
