Stockholm-based Folkform is a design studio owned and run by industrial designers Chandra Ahlsell and Anna Holmquist. They work on their own independent projects as well as with clients such as Nola, Stockholm Parking and the Interactive Institute. Folkform has a strong focus on new areas of application for material and material experimentation.
Chandra Ahlsell
Industrial designer MFA
Studied at Pratt Institute of Design in New York before moving back to Stockholm and Konstfack Industrial Design Department in 2001. Previously worked at the MarchOne arkitekter.
Anna Holmquist
Industrial designer MFA
Studied industrial design at Goldsmiths University, London, before moving back to Stockholm in 2001 to complete her MA studies at Konstfack. Previously worked at the Saatchi Gallery and the Interactive Institute in Stockholm.
Founded Folkform together with Chandra Ahlsell 2003.
