COORDINATION ASIA is an award winning agency for design and architecture, specializing in creating high impact environments in Museum, Exhibition, Retail and Hospitality Design. The Shanghai-based studio consists of an international team whose project-specific design strategies take into account aesthetic, cultural and social considerations alongside the brand message or exhibition content.
The studio has completed a number of successful museum projects, such as the award-winning Shanghai Museum of Glass and Kids Museum of Glass, which are located in G+PARK, as well as the popular Shanghai Film Museum, with many more underway. COORDINATION ASIA has worked with internationally respected brands such as NIKE to complete The Nike Studio in Beijing, while feature retail projects include the tech-savvy TCL electronics store in Shenzhen. The studio has also completed a series of cafes for the very successful Gaga Cafe brand.
COORDINATION ASIA was founded in Shanghai in 2008 by German architect Tilman Thürmer.
