MAGGIORI INFORMAZIONI SU DIALOG
Profile
Dialog illustrates the belief that all great projects start with an understanding of their clients’ culture, context and community to deliver on-brand designs. Their “Made in Canada” attitude reflects their vision that design should be meaningful and improve the well-being of communities, including where we work, live, learn and play. Dialog’s signature trademark is that every project has a unique story and no two stories should ever be designed the same.
Established in 1960, Dialog is an integrated, multi-disciplinary design firm made up of architects, engineers, interior designers, urban planners and landscape architects. With studios located in San Francisco, Vancouver, Toronto, Calgary and Edmonton. Their ability to draw innovation from multiple sectors and apply it to an ever-changing world of design has set them apart from their competitors.
Dialog goes beyond the surface. Healing patients with fewer staff; improving passenger experiences while reducing airport carbon footprints; and revitalizing abandoned urban neighbourhoods; their interdisciplinary approach to design embraces complex challenges that affect businesses on a visual, environmental and emotional level. Dialog brings a holistic understanding of health and wellness to the design process encompassing a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being.
As an organization, collaboration is in their DNA. In 2014, Dialog was recognized as one of “Canada’s Top 100 Employees” and was listed Achievers “50 Most Engaged Workplaces in Canada of 2013,” which recognizes top employers that display leadership and innovation in engaging employees and making their workplaces more productive.
Dialog has received numerous awards and recognition for their work and was named one of Interior Design Magazine’s ’Top 100 Giants for 2015’. Most recently, DIALOG Vancouver’s interior design team was awarded “Best Tenant Improvement” during NAIOP and Business in Vancouver’s Commercial Real Estate Awards, which recognizes excellence in the commercial real estate industry within the Metro Vancouver area.
Additional awards include EnRoute Magazine’s “Hotel Design Award” for the Emblem Hotel in Prague and the “Canadian Consulting Engineering Award of Excellence” for the Edmonton International Airport Combined Office and Control Tower. Honourable mentions include the Calgary Mayor’s Urban Design Awards “Great City, Great Design” for the Telus SPARK tower, which was also awarded Alberta Construction Magazine’s “Top Industrial Projects”, and Canadian Architect’s “2015 Awards of Excellence” honoured both the Calgary Central Library and Vancouver House projects.
