Eastlake Studio is focused on the design of great places to work, but our work also extends to exceptional residential and retail environments. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of service possible and understand the importance of working with people who are both intelligent and enjoyable. Our clients demand all of these qualities when retaining a design firm. Eastlake Studio is proud to say that our agenda is the same as theirs.
DESIGN
Eastlake Studio has won awards for our design work and numerous projects have been published by industry publications. The goals of each project are set at the beginning, when we review whether client priorities start with image, function, time or money. Frustrations are fewer when problems are better defined. We especially enjoy helping our clients achieve their dreams and find success in environments that are well-aligned with their users.
SERVICE
The practice of design consists of two main elements: the management of information and the communication of ideas. Magazines have published articles showcasing the kit of tools we use - information management software so smart we created a separate business focused on just that. We know design is more than information - our visualization tools remove much of the doubt from the design process, providing us with quick consensus when client decisions are needed.
PEOPLE
We seek out the best and brightest people to be a part of our studio. A passion for design lies in the heart of every studio member, but everyone here also understands the need to keep that passion focused on the priorities of our clients. We have assembled a team that is both knowledgeable and personable. We strive for enjoyable working relationships with our clients and try to make every project enjoyable.
REGIONAL PRACTICE / CHICAGO FOCUS
Our practice is regional in nature, but focused
on Chicago. We are licensed to practice in most Midwest states and, through NCARB registration, are able to quickly obtain reciprocal registration in most others. We are qualified to help clients obtain permits through the City of Chicago’s Expanded Self Certified Permit Process, having processed some permits in less than 24 hours.
ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS
Our environmental future has become more focused on the spaces we spend most of our
day - the workplace. The selection of sustainable materials and resource efficient systems are paramount to sustaining our living and working environment. 100% of Eastlake Studio’s design staff has obtained LEED accreditation through
the US Green Building Council, resulting in the successful certification of LEED projects and confirming our commitment to responsible design.
