Since 2008, Nina Eigenmann and Iris Durot – the founders and owners of eigenmannDUROT – have been designing, developing and producing furniture and home accessories in their atelier in Zurich-Altstetten for both manufacturers and distributors.
Their design approach is strongly influenced by their experimental research which gives them a profound insight into the materials’ characteristics as well as the production methods. In their design process, the two designers always keep a close eye on both the functionality of the product and the ecological aspects of its material and production.
eigenmannDUROT covers all steps of product development from the idea to the prototype. Their aim is to create a useful, sensual product.
