Fragmentos de Arquitectura

Fragmentos began in 1994 while we were still architecture students. Early on in our careers, our eagerness to explore and learn, led us to collaborate with other firms, absorbing different methodologies and approaches. In parallel with these first professional experiences, we also began developing projects as Fragmentos.

Over the time, it has become necessary to devote more of our energy and commitment to this common project that we created, cementing and solidifying Fragmentos.

Many influences remain with us from that time; it could be said that Fragmentos is a project put together by a group of friends that went on to gain recognition in the market place.

In addition to occasional partnerships over the years, and as part of our growth strategy, we have specifically focused on collaborative projects, believing that the merging of different experiences and learning is always enriching. Today we know that it is through the combining and strength of different fragments (of ideas, feelings, needs, individuals, stories) that we can design, develop and build in a stronger and more durable way.

An example of this is our expansion into Angola as Sinefrag since late 2014.

OUR SERVICES:
Our work is carried out transversely, touching upon different areas of architecture.

Our projects involve more than simply developing the architectural design, as increasingly, our clients require an able support team to take them from the creative design phase through to delivery of the finished product.

Being present at all stages of the process allows us to both project manage and oversee the whole building project whilst also having greater involvement in the interior design phase; always with the aim of providing customers with a comprehensive service. This ability to comprehensively cover all areas of a project means that we can coordinate each phase creating a more streamlined process thus improving the quality of the final product.

OUR TEAM:
We know that our market strength is directly related to the stability of our team, which whilst growing steadily, has adapted in a gradual and sustained manner to the changing needs of our clients and the increasing complexity of the projects we take on.

We are a complementary team of architects, who although each different, share a set of common values. Most of our employees have been part of the family for over ten years, one of our main objectives having always been steady and sustainable growth. This is a recognized and common goal for all who make up the team.

We hope to reflect the fragments of our trips, memories, friends and experiences. We believe that sharing experiences inspires us to design; each of us is part of a whole that is Fragmentos.
