Profile
“Architecture shapes happiness. We are convinced that beautiful buildings make people happier. Well-designed architecture contributes to a society, in which people respect each other and invite people to develop themselves to their full potential. In close consultation with our clients we realize these sustainable, inspiring and innovative buildings.
Our designs reflect the human scale, safety issues, social aspects and utilise healthy materials to create a pleasant living and working environment with a unique character. Adding value and cohesion to architectural designs is as important as the lifetime costs of a building. We take into account all aspects from ‘Total Cost of Ownership’ to ‘Total Value for Society’. Driven by these values, inspiring buildings will arise which make people enthusiastic.”
LIAG believes in an integrated approach to realise sustainable buildings with outstanding contemporary design. Today, we have realised and are realising many high profile projects in the Netherlands and abroad.
With a quality through quality approach, LIAG achieves excellence by taking meticulous steps through spatial organisation, floor plan development and sustainable architecture. Working in close contact with our clients we create buildings that contribute to society and reflect the client’s image.
Founded in 1919 by architect Dirk Roosenburg, we quickly made a name for ourselves with the Philips Light Tower, which housed the Philips Headquarters in Eindhoven, the Pavilion exhibition in Brussels and the KLM office in The Hague. In order to stay at the forefront of their field and to anticipate trends and developments, a new partner joins their team every 10 years. This promotes an ongoing exchange of tradition and knowledge between partners, allowing the expertise and traditions to be continuously reinterpreted in an architectural, technical and social sense.
