Dorothée Hackethal seized the initiative three years ago. The business director of an advertising agency in Cologne, she abandoned her fruitless hunt for attractive furnishings for her little daughter. A project that began with preliminary pencil sketches quickly evolved into a full-fledged passion. Together with a friend – the industrial designer André Wilps – she progressively perfected the sketches until the first collectiwon was ready: Series_01 with armchair, two-seater and daybed.

Philosophy
The brand was given the name “Living Jewels” because these pieces of furniture are indeed little gems for every child’s room. The brand is synonymous with the joy of design, life and play – and, of course, the joy of children. Children can sit, lie, jump and romp on this furniture, or simply cuddle and sleep on it. In addition to their puristic design, these pieces of furniture also uphold the highest standards of quality, ergonomics and safety. Living Jewels furnishings turn a playroom and bedroom into a living room for children.
