José Pedro López González
Biography
Born in 1991 in Mexico City.
Graduated from the Universidad Veracruzana in 2013, with academic experiences at the University of Chiba, Japan, the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Porto, Portugal, and a masters degree in Architecture, Design and Innovation from the European University of Valencia, Spain.
He began his professional career collaborating with different architecture studios, working and leading a wide span of project typologies that range from interior and residential design to LEED Certified Buildings.
In 2019, he founded LÓPEZ GONZÁLEZ STUDIO, an architecture and design office whose main interest lies in the analysis of local expressions and traditions for the development of contemporary proposals.
His work emerges through the understanding of the characteristics of objects that establishes limits and relations between people and space; as well as the consequent reactions, generated by their intentions in the human being and its influence in daily life.
At LÓPEZ GONZÁLEZ STUDIO each project is conceived and developed from thought and search for reason. It is through observation, meditation and understanding of the particularities of each commission that their proposals respond, creating a dialogue between time, site and space, resulting in artistic manifestations of the conditions of their approach.
