nachtaktiv is a lighting design firm, which offers customized architectural lighting, independent from the light industry. nachtaktiv designs solutions for interior and exterior lighting since 2005. Besides architects and landscape architects clients are also ETH Zurich (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology), Zurich Public Transport, City of Winterthur, Zurich and Zug.

Light affects people in three different, important ways. Light determines how we perceive our environment, in the way it reflects on surfaces and creates contours and shadows. Our perception of space and material is steered by light. Secondly, light creates a certain atmosphere which is essential for our emotions and wellbeing. And last but not least, light influences our health while it regulates the human biorhythm. That is why it is so important to plan the lighting professionally. Nachtaktiv specializes in customized architectural lighting solutions.
