Marco Biegert and Andreas Funk started off by founding the design agency BIEGERT & FUNK. They soon began to develop their own products alongside their client based design work. The design-duo was always fascinated by the subject of time. Already in their youth they had discussed the concept of a clock that showed the time in the same way that people talk to one another: “IT IS TWENTY TO THREE”. With the installation of their manufacturing company in an old jewelry factory QLOCKTWO‘s success story had begun. Today QLOCKTWO is known worldwide and delights people in twelve different languages and many different sizes and models with the TIME IN WORDS. QLOCKTWO has been awarded with over a dozen internationally renowned awards, including: Red Dot, iF Product Design Award, Good Design, Interior Innovation Award, Type Directors Club and the coveted Gold Awards of the ADC Europe.
