Dutch designer Oscar van Buijtene designs, creates, and innovates. At the heart of Sebios is designer Oscar van Buijtene. His aim is to spread his motto 'live with passion' through his collection. The innovative and distinctive collection of garden fireplaces and wood storage elements are original Dutch Design and are entirely designed, manufactured, and assembled in-house.
Oscar explains: 'The enjoyment of a fine meal with good wine in the company of friends and the joy and warmth of family... that is the experience I want to convey to others.' 'My passion lies in the construction world. The possibilities this technology offers are endless. For me, this is both a tremendous source of inspiration and a challenge. It is the wellspring of my desire to design products, and it opens the doors to creation of such beautiful forms. Besides form and construction, there is also the challenge to create products that are sustainable.

All our products are delivered in completely recyclable packaging – wooden pallets and packing material – which can be burned right in the fireplaces,' says Oscar. The hearth collection has a unique, patented design and is produced in both Corten steel, also called weathering steel, which develops a beautiful reddish-brown rust colour, as well as in black, powder-coated steel. Sebios Outdoor Quality is available as a complete set, but the garden fireplaces and wood storage elements are also available separately.

The innovative and distinctive Sebios garden fireplaces and wood storage elements are only suitable for outdoor use. The Sebios garden fireplaces and wood storage elements are original Dutch Design and are entirely designed, manufactured, and assembled in-house.

Characteristic of the collection of garden fireplaces is the material, Corten steel, also called weathering steel, which gives a beautiful reddish-brown rust colour to the Sebios line of fireplaces. The garden fireplace or wood storage element comes in steel colour and gains a natural reddish-brown rust colour upon exposure to the elements. The oxidation layer, which produces the reddish-brown colour, stops it from rusting further. As a result of this natural process, every fireplace develops its own colour and character. In addition to the rust colour, there is a black line, made of powder coated steel, which is also weatherproof and fire-resistant.

The Sebios collection has been extensively tested for good combustion, deformation and expansion and features stable, nicely concealed adjustable feet. The outdoor fireplaces are equipped with a double rear wall and side walls. The wood storage element is open at the back to allow the wood to dry through natural air circulation, preventing mould.
